Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your Resume Strategist account and all associated data at any time. This applies to accounts created on our website or in our iOS and Android apps — it is the same single account everywhere.

Delete your account yourself (immediate)

1. Sign in to your account (website or app).
2. Open your Dashboard and go to Settings.
3. Scroll to the Danger zone and choose Delete my account permanently.
4. Confirm. Deletion is immediate and irreversible.

What gets deleted

• Your account and profile (name, email, password).
• All résumé content you entered or uploaded, and all generated documents.
• Your order and download history, credits, and saved drafts.
• Your Auto-Apply preferences, attached résumé, and job-match history, if you used Auto-Apply.

Payment records held by our payment processor (Stripe) are retained by Stripe as required for financial and legal compliance; we do not keep your card details ourselves at any point.

Before you delete

• Download your documents first — generated files cannot be recovered after deletion.
• Auto-Apply members: cancel your membership from the dashboard before deleting so no further billing occurs, or mention it in your request and we will confirm cancellation.

Request deletion by email

If you can't access your account, contact us via our Contact page or email support@theresumestrategist.com from the email address on the account with the subject "Delete my account." We will verify the request and complete the deletion, normally within 7 days.
