By using The Resume Strategist, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
The service
The Resume Strategist provides AI-assisted tools to create, score, and improve résumés, cover letters, and related career documents. We continually refine the service and may add, change, or remove features.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your login credentials secure. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
Acceptable use
- Provide truthful information about your own background. You are responsible for the accuracy of the content on your documents.
- Do not use the service to misrepresent your qualifications, or for any unlawful or abusive purpose.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, or gain unauthorized access to the service.
Payments & credits
Paid plans grant a set number of application credits. Prices are shown at checkout and processed securely by Stripe. Credits are tied to your account. Promotional codes are subject to their stated conditions.
Your content & ownership
You own the documents you create. You grant us a limited license to process your content solely to provide the service to you. We own the platform, software, designs, and templates.
AI-generated content
Our tools generate suggestions and may propose reasonable, realistic metrics to strengthen your bullet points. You are responsible for reviewing every document for accuracy before you use it. You confirm any suggested figures before they are applied.
Auto-Apply membership
Auto-Apply is an optional recurring subscription that matches your profile to public job listings. If — and only if — you enable email auto-apply (which is off by default), you authorize us to send job applications containing your résumé to employers on your behalf, within the daily limit of your plan and only to application addresses that match the listing's employer domain. You are responsible for the accuracy of your résumé and preferences. We are not responsible for employer responses, listing accuracy, or hiring outcomes. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel any time from your dashboard, and access continues through the end of the paid period.
No guarantee of outcomes
We help you present your experience effectively, but we do not guarantee interviews, job offers, or any specific employment outcome.
Limitation of liability
The service is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding twelve months.
Changes & termination
We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them. You may stop using the service at any time, and we may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
